Live an authentic Maremma experience with a horseback ride in Casale Marittimo, in the province of Pisa.
Immerse yourself in vineyards, olive groves , and hilly roads until you reach the Macchia della Magona nature reserve and push your gaze down to the sea.
In the company of a guide, you can explore and experience this part of Tuscany in depth on a 1- or 2-hour ride (to be chosen at the time of booking).
What we will do
The meeting point is Casale Marittimo (PI), 10 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
Here we will find the guide waiting for us, who will welcome us to the ranch and share with us the Toscani family 's passion for the land and horses. Before setting off, we will have a small initial briefing to familiarise ourselves with our horse and go over the main commands.
Then we will be ready to begin our ride, which will first take us through the ranch grounds, passing vineyards, olive groves and between the horses' paddocks. We will ride through fields and dirt country roads, up hills that will test us with slight gradients, until we reach the Macchia della Magona nature reserve.
The reserve is characterised by flourishing Mediterranean scrub and is located a short distance from the beaches of Bibbona. Along the way we will be able to admire glimpses of the village of Casale Marittimo and the Tuscan coast, savouring an infinite sense of freedom and contact with this unspoilt nature.
We will return to the ranch after a 1- or 2-hour walk, depending on the duration chosen when booking.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for people with a minimum of riding experience. Beginners can also participate, provided they are a little adventurous, as the route includes some gradients and the guide will accompany the group on horseback.
The minimum age is 14 years. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Other information
The activity can take place all year round (daily from October to May; Monday to Friday from June to September). A minimum number of 2 people is required to confirm the ride.
The mount used is the American mount .
The cost does not include the daily insurance card, to be paid on site from 5€.
The farm cannot be reached by public transport; parking is available on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
