F ancy a day trip in Tuscany? Here’s an idea for a wonderful day of adventure and fine food in Casale Marittimo, in the province of Pisa.
Start with a one-hour horse ride through fields and vineyards, accompanied by a guide.
On your return from the ride, lunch and a wine tasting at the Azienda Agricola Toscani await you. Raise your glasses – it’s time to toast!
What we will do
Please meet at Casale Marittimo (PI), 10 minutes before the time specified when you booked.
Here we will be met by our guide, who will welcome us to the Toscani family’s ranch and give a short briefing before the ride, to help us get to know our horse and go over the main commands.
Once in the saddle, we’ll ride across the ranch grounds, passing through vineyards, olive groves and the horse paddocks. During the ride, we’ll be able to admire splendid views of the village of Casale Marittimo and the nearby Tuscan coast.
We’ll return to the ranch after an hour’s ride, ready to recharge our batteries with lunch: we’ll take our seats in the tasting room opposite the stables, where we’ll enjoy specialities such as pappa al pomodoro, bruschetta and roasted vegetables; we’ll be able to choose a starter and either a first or second course from the daily menu.
If you select the wine tasting option, you’ll also have the chance to taste 3 or 5 wines from the Azienda Agricola Toscani, discovering their characteristics and the winery’s philosophy, dedicated to completely sustainable winemaking.
The activity will last approximately 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for people with a minimum of riding experience. Beginners can also participate, provided they are a little adventurous, as the route includes some gradients and the guide will accompany the group on horseback.
The minimum age is 14 years. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The wine tasting is reserved exclusively for participants over the age of 18.
Other information
The activity can take place all year round (daily from October to May; Monday to Saturday from June to September). A minimum number of 2 people is required to confirm it.
The mount used is the American mount .
The cost does not include the daily insurance card, to be paid on site from 5€.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
