Take a 3-star hotel surrounded by nature, a dinner with Tuscan products and a horseback ride: these are the ingredients for a perfect weekend in the Maremma!
Enjoy a one-night stay in a comfortable double room with breakfast included, combined with a riding trip through the woods and hills of Montieri.
Now that's a recipe for happiness!
What we will do
Check-in is from 14: 00 at the 3-star hotel in Montieri (GR), immersed in the landscape of the Tuscan Maremma. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by the hotel staff, who will give you the keys to your room, located in the main building or in the hotel's depandance.
The standard double rooms, furnished in a simple and sober style, have a private bathroom with shower or bathtub and complete bathroom fittings, hairdryer, LCD satellite TV, safe, electric kettle, heating and Internet connection. You will find linen, towels and a soap dispenser.
From May to early October, you can relax in the panoramic swimming pool surrounded by greenery, which is free for guests. From 7: 30 p. m. to 9: 00 p. m. , you can enjoy a typical Tuscan dinner (included) in the hotel's in-house restaurant , with a buffet-style starter, first course, second course and dessert, with a choice of two alternatives for the main courses. Drinks are not included.
Just 100 metres from the hotel is the riding stables from which you can set off on a horseback ride through the surrounding nature. After a 10-minute briefing to learn the basics of horse riding, your guide will take you through lush trails and forests, with views of the village of Gerfalco, the Maremma hills, the sea on the horizon and, on a clear day, even Corsica!
The guide will lead the group on horseback and provide constant support. The horseback ride will last 1 hour: you can decide to do it on the day of arrival or departure, at the time you agree with the guide.
In the morning, a continental breakfast buffet is served (included) . Check-out is until 11: 00 am.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is reserved for 2 persons over 18 years of age.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. A maximum weight of 100 kg is required.
The facility is not wheelchair accessible.

The experience is available from 10 May to 1 November. Check-in is from 14: 00 and check-out by 11: 00.
The horseback ride is not exclusive; it may be shared with other participants.

Dogs are allowed with an extra charge of €10 per night. During the walk, they may remain in the stables.
It is not possible to bring bags and backpacks on the walk.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
The experiences included in the stay plus experience packages are subject to weather conditions. If the experience cannot take place due to bad weather or other causes of force majeure, you can choose between a refund for the experience that did not take place or rescheduling the activity for another date (if available). However, the stay cannot be refunded or rescheduled if the terms of the package cancellation policy have already expired.
Can I change the date selected for my stay?
