Full description

If you like challenges, join us in Val Maggiore, a few kilometres from Belluno, to participate in a canyoning experience that will test our physical abilities.

We will be able to try our hand at many dives and rope descents , including one beside a 30-metre waterfall, following a route between rocks and water in a canyon near the picturesque Santa Croce Lake.

We will not miss any attraction, it will be a canyoning that will not spare us adrenalin rushes, but will also give us many emotions.

What we will do

We will meet at 8. 30 a. m. at the Cornolade Waterfalls in Ponte nelle Alpi (a few kilometres from Belluno) . When we are all there, we will hold a briefing during which safety rules, progression techniques in the torrent and the use of equipment (wetsuit, ropes and descenders) will be explained.

Afterwards, we will reach the entrance point of the canyon , which winds its way around the picturesque Santa Croce Lake with a walk of about 10 minutes.

Right from the start we will have to test our physical skills to tackle the obstacles, but the real challenge will be the abseil next to the spectacular 30-metre-high Cornolade Waterfall. Before starting the descent, we can gain courage by admiring the beautiful landscape upstream of the waterfall, among rocks, water and dense vegetation. In addition, the less daring may choose not to undertake the descent and continue enjoying the view from a viewing terrace above the waterfall.

We will find ourselves in a pool of water and resume the route, which will take place between other rappels alongside waterfalls, which are shorter but still adrenaline-pumping, and dives (up to 9 metres) .

The activity will last about two hours in total and will end with a 10-minute walk back to the starting point.

Who it is aimed at

This is canyoning of intermediate difficulty and is intended for people with a fair degree of fitness, with a minimum age of 8 years. Previous canyoning experience is not necessary.
