Discover the incredible landscapes of the Valnerina, in the heart ofUmbria, with a rafting descent on the Corno river.
Together with expert guides , you will spend 2 hours on board the raft. Paddle after paddle, you will overcome the rapids and make your way to the spectacular Biselli gorges, where you will be astounded by the sheer rock faces overhanging the river.
One thrill after another in anincredible adventure of sport, nature and fun!
What we will do
We will meet 30 minutes before the time selected during the booking process at the meeting point in Serravalle di Norcia (PG) for the Umbria and Valnerina outdoor activities. There we will meet the guides and the rest of the group and hold a preparation briefing together.
We will be provided with all thenecessary equipment and given a short lesson on basic rafting techniques. After that, we will board the rafts and off we go on the adventure!
We will sail along the River Corno, one of the main tributaries of the River Nera, which runs through the heart of Umbria and Italy. We will cross narrow stretches between rocky walls where the water flows impetuously, and open stretches where the flow calms down and you can contemplate the panorama and perhaps enjoy a dip in the crystal-clear waters.
Then we reach the Biselli gorges, where the imposing overhanging rocks and caves carved out by the water make for an enchanting landscape. Here we can stop at a small beach set among the rocks and quench our thirst with pure water from a natural spring.
Thus, between one rapid and the next, after two hours of rafting we will reach the end of the route and return to the base with the vehicles provided by the sports centre. Including briefing and transfers, the activity takes about 2.5 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 3 years old and up. No previous experience is required.
Other information
This activity takes place from April to the first week of November, subject to weather and guide availability.
Videos and photos can be purchased on site for 19€. They will be delivered to you on a USB stick, which will remain in your possession.
All equipment used during the activity is sanitised after each use.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
