Full description
Six mountains: what do you do? Rafting or via ferrata? The right answer is both!
Take part in this unique experience that combines the adrenaline of rafting with the technique of via ferrata. Access the rock walls of the Ceraino Canyon directly from the raft and discover the Valdadige in an original way and in total safety, thanks to the support and company of our rafting and mountain guides.
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before 9:00 a.m. at the meeting point in Dolcé (VR). After a quick briefing with the guides, we will each return to our own means of transport to reach together the embarkation point on the river Adige , which is less than 10 minutes away by car.
Here our guides will give us the necessary equipment for the first rafting descent. We will then cover the first section of the river on board the raft, reaching within 1.5 hours the impressive Canyon of Ceraino, a point where the mountain falls sheer to the river!
We will then dock right next to one of the canyon walls, put on the appropriate equipment and, once we have listened to the directions of the mountain guides, begin our via ferrata.
After aclimb of about one hour, we will arrive at the top of the canyon. Here we will take a break to eat a packed lunch and recharge our batteries. The descent will then begin: with the support of the mountain guide, we will venture down the first 50-metre rope abseil suspended in the void. We will make an intermediate stop on a rock step, and then begin the second 25-metre rope descent that will land right on the raft!
Finally, we will cover thelast rafting section of about 2 km (for a total of 9 km) before reaching the disembarkation point. The activity lasts a total of about 5½ hours and ends with the return to the meeting point.
