In Verona, the aperitif gets more sparkling than ever!
No, we are not talking (only) about wine, but about the rapids that will accompany you on this rafting trip on the Adige river, truly unique. In two and a half hours you will toast under the city's historic bridges while tasting three local wines between paddles.
A unique experience, where each glass is paired with a spectacular location and a tale of the area!
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the selected time at the meeting point in Verona, where our rafting guide will be waiting for us and we will open the dances with an aperitif of cheese and cold cuts from the area accompanied by Garganega Brut - La Corte del Pozzo.
After about half an hour, we will board the raft and begin our navigation on theAdige. After about 45 minutes, we will stop in the middle of the river under the marvellous arches of the Scaligero bridge for a second tasting of Borgoletto Soave DOC and listen to stories about the river 's history.
We will then reach the eighteenth-century river customs house in the Filippini area where we will be offered a third tasting of Bardolino DOC La Corte del Pozzo accompanied by some snacks. During the stop, it will also be possible to visit the Adige Museum housed inside the building.
Along the way, there will be some adrenaline-filled passages through the river rapids at the Ponte della Vittoria and the wonderful Ponte Pietra bridge from the Roman era.
After spending about 2 hours in the water, we will return to the meeting point. The experience will last about 2 ½ hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 18.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first rafting descent.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to October on the dates available in the calendar and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
Each rafting boat can accommodate a maximum of 12 people in addition to the F.I.Raft guide.
There is free parking on site. Alternatively, you can reach the meeting point by public transport , getting off at the San Fermo bus stop (Stradone San Fermo, 2 - Verona) where a shuttle bus will be waiting for you to take you to the starting point.
On site there are changing rooms with toilets and showers. There is a bar-restaurant on site.
Discounts are available for groups of at least 10 people and stag/bachelorette parties: contact us to submit your booking request.
