River tubing under the Tre Cime di Lavaredo

What is the best way to admire the Tre Cime di Lavaredo? We bet you don't expect it!

Contemplate the most beautiful panorama of the Dolomites while gliding over the waters of the Ansiei torrent on board a tubing, similar to an inflatable donut.

It will be a4-hour water adventure that is super fun, relaxing and adrenaline-pumping at the same time, to enjoy your postcard view!

What we will do

We will meet 15 minutes before the indicated time at Lake Santa Caterina in Auronzo di Cadore (BL), where we will leave the cars and meet our guides.

We will start preparing for the adventure by wearing a wetsuit, water jacket and helmet and then, with a van transfer of about 20 minutes, we will reach the starting point on the Ansiei stream. Once there, the guides will hold a briefing of about 30 minutes to explain the safety rules and do some water trials on board the tubing.

This fun aquatic discipline involves descending rivers and streams aboard a tubing machine, an inflatable donut on which to slide while paddling.

Once ready, we will set off on a 5-6 km descent, following the current through shallow water. We will be accompanied by two guides, one at the front and one at the back of the group, who will ensure safety and involve us in fun games along the way.

Along the way, we will alternate between calmer stretches, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery, and more challenging and exciting passages, where the adrenaline will be at its highest. All immersed in postcard-perfect scenery, with the Three Peaks of Lavaredo keeping us company in the background.

After about 3 hours, our descent will end at Santa Caterina Lake, where we will be able to relax, share the emotions we have experienced, and celebrate this unique experience in one of the most evocative places in the Dolomites.

The total duration of the activity will be 4 hours, including dressing, briefing, descent and transfers.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable from the age of 14. Minors must be accompanied to the venue by an adult, but can participate in the activity on their own.

Itis not necessary to know how to swim, but good aquatic skills are required.

The activity is not suitable for people with physical disabilities.

Other information

The activity takes place from May to September, from Saturday to Monday, and is confirmed with a minimum of 5 persons.

There are no changing rooms, toilets or showers on site. It is advisable to leave any personal belongings in the cars at the end of the descent. Participants will be provided with a waterproof bag in which to store small items such as a mobile phone or a snack.

Guides will take photos during the descent, which will be shared with participants via download links.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there is a free car park and a pay car park on site.
