Full description

When the kids ask "where are we going today? ", this time your answer will leave them speechless: snowshoeing!

And not just any snowshoeing , but a little family adventure in the Gaver Plain, in the province of Brescia. Spend two hours in the company of an Alpine Guide in the enchanted setting of the Adamello Park.

A snow experience that will remain in the hearts of young and old alike!

What we will do

The meeting with the mountain guide is scheduled 30 minutes before 14: 00 at Gaver in Breno (BS).

Here we will be handed our snowshoes and poles and take part in a short technical briefing, perfect for first-timers. The guide will teach us how to move safely in the snow and how to tackle the route with confidence.

We will then begin our snowshoe hike on the Gaver Plain, in the heart of the Adamello Park. With snowshoes on our feet, we will cross fir forests, wide clearings and spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. We will be able to admire the Cornone del Blumone, the highest and most imposing peak in the southern Adamello, and other peaks exceeding 2, 100 metres, such as Monte Misa.

As we ascend in altitude, we will encounter coniferous forests such as larch, stone pine and mugo pine, as well as forests of spruce and fir. Along the route we will stop several times to contemplate the landscape and to listen to the guide's stories and descriptions.

The route, chosen by the guide according to the conditions and the group, will be almost entirely flat, covering a distance of about 2 km and an altitude difference of about 100 metres.

We will conclude the experience by returning to the starting point, for a total duration of 2 hours.
