Full description
Join us for an altitudesnowshoe hike in Prato Nevoso, in the province of Cuneo, and enjoy the magical atmosphere of the mountains. You will walk for 1 hour on snow-covered paths, at an altitude of 2000 metres, together with an Alpine Guide.
You will admire the beautiful scenery of the Piedmontese Alps at sunset and, at the end of the snowshoe hike, you will enjoy an aperitif with typical products and a glass of bubbly in a delightful mountain chalet.
What we will do
The meeting is at 4 p.m. at the Baita del Verde in Prato Nevoso, a renowned winter tourist resort in the province of Cuneo. Here we will meet the mountain guide who will accompany us on our snowshoe hike.
After a briefing on the route, we will be given snowshoes and poles (included in the participation fee). Afterwards, we will take the ticket for the "La Rossa" cable car (included in the fee) to reach the altitude.
Ascending to 2000 metres, we will follow the guide on the snow-covered paths for a 1-hour walk in the beautiful setting of the Piedmontese Alps. We will admire the breathtaking landscape in the light of sunset, stopping at the most suggestive and panoramic spots to take a few photos. We will also have a headlamp at hand, for when darkness falls.
We will then reach Chalet Il Rosso, where a tasty aperitif of local cured meats and cheeses plus a glass of bubbly will be waiting for us (the aperitif is included in the fee). Around 20.00 we will then descend by cable car to Prato Nevoso to return to the starting point.
The activity lasts a total of about 2 hours and includes an initial briefing and aperitif.

This activity is of an easy level and is open to anyone in good health and used to walking in the mountains.
The minimum age to participate is 8 years old.
To participate in this activity, the maximum weight is 100 kg; if you weigh 80 kg or more, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate your weight.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point approximately 30 minutes before the time chosen for the activity.
This activity can be carried out from December to April, depending on snow and weather conditions, and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
