Immerse yourself in the heart of the Gran Paradiso with an exciting 3-hour snowshoe hike.
You will walk along the snow-covered slopes and meadows of the Val di Cogne at an altitude of 1700 metres, together with an expert guide. You will pass through dense forests and characteristic alpine villages, admiring the spectacular panorama of the Gran Paradiso glaciers.
And if you have never seen frozen waterfalls, prepare to marvel!
What we will do
The meeting is in Lilaz, a hamlet of Cogne (AO). The guide will welcome us and hand over theequipment (snowshoes and poles), explaining how to use and adjust it. We will then set off on our snowshoe hike in the heart of the Gran Paradiso Park.
We will walk along a 5 km nature trail in Italy's most important protected area. We will cross unspoilt forests and reach typical alpine villages, always with the Gran Paradiso glaciers in front of us.
There will be no lack of panoramic stops to admire the breathtaking scenery and take beautiful photos. The ring-shaped route, which is mainly flat, is easy and suitable for everyone.
The activity lasts about 3 hours and involves returning to the starting point in Cogne.

Other information
The snowshoe hike can be booked from January to March, subject to snow and weather conditions, and is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 6 participants (an alternative will be offered if the minimum number is not reached) .
Dogs are not allowed.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
