The first snowshoe hike

It was the first time with snowshoes. Mauro (the guide) with a few 'tips' explained to us how to use snowshoes in the correct way according to the characteristics of the route, uphill, downhill, flat,... And then off to the Valnontey forest. Nice route, about 7km, and with encounters with chamois on the nature of which Mauro shared his knowledge. The beautiful sun crowned this experience, which I would recommend to anyone wanting to be in the mountains in a different way with snow. Danilo.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE

We were supposed to do the snowshoe hike in Cogne, but due to an avalanche risk, it was moved to the Rhêmes valley. The guide was well prepared and very nice, he provided us with the necessary equipment and then we set off on the snowshoe hike through the woods in a magnificent landscape. Every so often we stopped and the guide told us a bit of history and anecdotes about the park and the small villages. Absolutely recommended!!!

Discovering snowshoeing

A unique first snowshoeing experience! We had initially booked the snowshoe hike to Cogne, but as we did not reach the number of participants, Pier Paolo presented us with two alternatives. We chose the snowshoe hike to Pila. After two hints on how to wear snowshoes, we set off to discover the route. Pier Paolo conveyed all his passion for the Valle d'Aosta with each tale. An experience definitely to be recommended and repeated.

Snowshoeing in the woods of Rhemes-Notre-Dame

I was unable to go on the booked hike because the minimum number was not reached. We were offered a new hike in the woods of Rhemes-Notre-Dame. Our first snowshoe hike went very well. Beautiful landscapes, all to be experienced and discovered. Nice and well-prepared guide. I would have preferred a few more minutes for stops to take more photos. Freedome platform fantastic, I will use it again.

A Day in Paradise

A wonderful experience on a walk in close contact with nature. Silvia succeeded in her mission to make us fall in love with nature by explaining and teaching us about the characteristics of the alpine flora and fauna. It was our first time snowshoeing and we were afraid we wouldn't be able to do it, but with Silvia's teachings everything was beautiful. Thank you very much

Good experience to repeat

First time with snowshoes, a moderately strenuous but easy and fun hike. Walking in the snowy forests of Cogne was not only beautiful, thanks to the guide Annalisa, but also instructive. My son and I will certainly repeat the experience, perhaps at night. Highly recommended.
