Full description

If Cortina d'Ampezzo is your winter destination, you cannot miss our snowshoe hike in the Dolomites!

Just 15 minutes away from the centre of the renowned resort, our guide is waiting for you for an adventure: embark on a route through the snowy landscape, with views of Monte Cristallo and the other high peaks.

An experience of around 4 hours, discovering the area and the animals that inhabit it!

What we will do

The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Cortina d'Ampezzo (BL), about 15 minutes' drive from the centre of the renowned winter destination. We will be welcomed by the mountain guide who will accompany us on this adventure in the snow!

Once all participants have gathered, we will be handed ourequipment. This will be followed by a brief introduction during which the guide will show us how touse snowshoes and describe the route we will soon be taking.

With snowshoes on our feet, we will then be ready to venture out into the snowy landscape. Depending on the best weather conditions of the day and the level of experience of the participants, we will take one of the many routes in the splendid natural setting of the Dolomites. Regardless of the route taken, along the way we will be able to admire the Sasso di Santa Croce, the Tofane and Monte Cristallo. And as we turn our noses upwards, we will notice the tracks of some of the animals that inhabit the area, such as roe deer, deer, chamois, foxes and hares.

After covering around 6 km with an altitude difference of between 300 and 400 metres, we will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last about 4 hours in total.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is recommended for ages 16 and over; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
