Full description

The greatest satisfaction? Reaching the summit and enjoying the view while enjoying a packed lunch!

This is exactly the scene you will experience when you participate in our guided snowshoe hike in the Thuras Valley. Reach the bivouac above Cima del Bosco, a 2,377 m high mountain in the Cottian Alps, and cross the finish line.

An 8 km route with 700 m of altitude difference, covered in 3 hours in the magical winter landscape of Piedmont.

What we will do

I will be waiting for you at 09:00 at the meeting point communicated at the time of booking, in Thures (TO). You will find me there, ready to hand you your snowshoes to begin our adventure.

After a briefing on the activity we are going to undertake together, we will set off into the snowy landscape of the Thuras Valley to reach our destination. We will walk with snowshoes on our feet up to Cima del Bosco, a 2,377 m high mountain in the Cottian Alps. Once we reach the unmanned and recently restored bivouac, we will enjoy our packed lunch (to be brought from home).

At the end of the break, having recharged our batteries, we will descend to the valley to return to our starting point.

We will cover a total of 8 km with 700 m of altitude difference in 3 hours. The experience has a total duration of 7 hours.
