Full description
But did you know that Valle Camonica is the symbol of Lombardy?
Or rather, the symbol of the region is the Rosa Camuna: a rock drawing native to this territory, all waiting to be discovered. Starting from the snow-covered pastures of Montecampione, a well-known winter resort where our guided snowshoe hike takes place at sunset.
An experience of over 4 hours, which you can enrich with an aperitif in the mountain hut to toast in company!
What we will do
The appointment is in Montecampione (BS). We will be welcomed by our guide, who will accompany us on this high-altitude snowshoe hike!
Once all the participants have gathered, theequipment (if rented) will be handed over and a short briefing will take place during which the guide will provide us with all the information we need to carry out the experience.
With snowshoes on our feet, we will then be ready to venture out into the winter landscape: we will snowshoe at 1,800 metres between mountain pastures and snow-covered meadows, as the sun sets between the mountains. We will walk on the Western Brescian Chain, part of the Brescian Pre-Alps that watch over the Camonica Valley. We will then reach a refuge where it will be possible to enjoy an aperitif (optional and not included) consisting of mixed platters and assorted snacks accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. All under the evocative light of sunset!
The route is of difficulty E (hiking), measuring 7 km with 350 m of altitude difference. The experience will last a total of about 4 hours, of which about 30 minutes will be spent at the refuge.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for 12 years and over. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult; the presence of at least 1 adult for every 3 participants under the age of 18 is mandatory.
The route is of an easy level and suitable for a first snowshoeing trip.
