Snowshoeing in Montecampione in Val Camonica

Experience an unforgettable day among snow-covered peaks and beautiful winter landscapes. Enjoy a fun snowshoe hike around Montecampione, a ski resort located in Val Camonica near Lake Iseo.

An expert guide will lead you along a 7 km snowy route with an altitude difference of 350 metres. You will walk among beautiful panoramas, landscapes of alpine pastures and snow-covered meadows, immersed in the beautiful peaks of the Brescian Pre-Alps.

What we will do

We will meet the guide 15 minutes before 10:30 a.m. at the meeting point in Montecampione, in the province of Brescia. After a briefing on the route, we will be given snowshoes (not included but available for hire on site). For those in possession, it will be possible to bring their own from home.

Once ready, we will begin our hike in the southern part of Val Camonica to discover all the charm of its 1,800 metres .

In the company of our guide, we will embark on a beautiful snowshoe hike amidst enchanting panoramas, landscapes of mountain pastures and snow-covered meadows. The reliefs in the Montecampione area belong to the Brescian Pre-Alps, more precisely to the Western Brescian Chain, and we will observe gentle snow-capped peaks. The 7-km itinerary, with an altitude difference of 350 metres, is simple and suitable for everyone.

Depending on the date selected at the time of booking, there will be a packed lunch break or a lunch break in a mountain hut during the hike, in both cases with lunch not included.

• Packed lunch break: the option does not include lunch, which you will have to bring from home; the experience will last a total of 4 hours.
• Refugelunch break: the option does not include lunch, which you will choose and pay for directly on site according to your preferences; the experience will last a total of 5 hours.

Who it is aimed at

Suitable for everyone over the age of 12. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult; the presence of at least 1 adult for every 3 participants under the age of 18 is mandatory.

The route is of an easy level and suitable for a first snowshoeing trip.

Attention! Depending on the date selected at the time of booking, there will be a packed lunch break or a lunch break in a refuge during the excursion, in both cases with lunch not included; contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail for more information.

• Packed lunch break (dates not available): the option does not include lunch, which you will have to bring from home; the experience will last 4 hours in total.
• Refuge lunch break (6 and 7 April): the option does not include lunch, which you will choose and pay for directly on site according to your preferences; the experience will last a total of 5 hours.

The activity takes place from December to April on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.

The guide will contact you 2 days before the date of the experience for more information on the meeting point. There is free parking on site; the meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

It will be possible to bring your own snowshoes or hire them at a cost of €12 (to be paid on site on the day of the snowshoeing).

Dogs are not allowed on the experience.
