Full description
Legends say that on full moon nights the Gaver Plain is traversed by mysterious figures, guided by the light of their head torch. .. One of these is you and you're on a night snowshoe hike!
Immerse yourself for 3 hours in the magical setting of the Adamello Park and take part in an excursion among snow-covered woods and majestic peaks, in the company of an Alpine Guide.
It will be a legendary experience, guaranteed!
What we will do
The meeting with the mountain guide will take place 30 minutes before 17: 00 at Gaver in Breno (BS).
Here we will be handed snowshoes, poles and a head torch and take part in a short technical briefing, to learn how to move safely in the snow at night.
We will then start our snowshoe hi ke on the Gaver Plain, in the heart of the Adamello Park. The itinerary, chosen by the guide depending on the conditions and the group, will be almost entirely flat, for a distance of about 2 km and an altitude difference of about 100 metres.
With torches lit, we will penetrate the fir, larch and beech forests of the plain, which at night become a world apart. We will cross wide clearings illuminated by the moon, where we can stop to listen to the silence of the mountain and observe the profile of the Cornone del Blumone standing out against the dark sky.
Along the way we will make a few panoramic stops, perfect for savouring the magical silence that only the mountain can offer at night.
We will conclude the experience by returning to the starting point, for a total duration of 3 hours.
