If the usual evenings in front of a screen have tired you out, Monte Avena has a better plan: two hours of adventure in the snow, under the starry sky!
Join an evocative night snowshoe hi ke together with an Alpine Guide: step by step, you can admire the Valbelluna and its lights in the distance.
More epic and memorable than any episode of a TV series (yes, even Stranger Things) !
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 18: 00 at the meeting point in Pedavena (BL) . Awaiting us will be the Alpine Guide, who will provide us with snowshoes and poles and introduce us to the evening with a short briefing.
Having switched on our headlamps, we will start to climb along the path leading to the crest of Mount Avena, the natural watershed between the Feltre peaks and the Valbelluna. As it gets darker, the outlines of the mountains and their shadows will become even more marked and evocative.
We will follow a ring-route of about 5 km and 300 m of altitude difference, passing near some malghe (shepherd's huts ) and crossing stretches of open woodland and panoramic ridges. The view, on a clear evening, will sweep as far as the Po Valley under a starry sky.
Back at the meeting point, those who wish can stop for dinner (not included) at a local farmhouse. The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Participation is possible from the age of 10. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult; over 14s can also participate alone.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first snowshoe hike.
Other information
The activity takes place on Fridays and Saturdays from 20 December to the end of March and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 12 participants.
The itinerary may vary depending on snow and weather conditions and the ability of the group, at the guide's discretion.
Leashed dogs are allowed.
If there is no snow, the experience will be offered as a snow trek with crampons, subject to the participants' acceptance.
There is free parking on site; the meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
