Full description
Put on your snowshoes and take part in an exciting excursion in the snow at Passo Pordoi, between the Sella Group and Marmolada.
With an alpine guide at your side, you will spend 3 hours exploring the unique landscapes of the Trentino Dolomites. Bring your enthusiasm and curiosity with you, because the only thing you will leave behind will be your footprints in the fresh snow!
What we will do
We will meet at Passo Pordoi (TN) 15 minutes before 9: 30 am.
Once the group is formed and we have got to know the mountain guide, we will be given snowshoes and poles (included in the fee) and we will be ready for our high-altitude snowshoe hike.
The route will take us along snow-covered paths to the Pordoi Pass, framed by the imposing walls of the Sella massif and with a spectacular view of the Marmolada. During the hike we will have the opportunity to take short breaks to admire the surrounding landscape, a true natural spectacle that takes on an even more special charm in winter.
The length and altitude difference of the route may vary depending on the itinerary chosen by the guide.
The activity has a total duration of 3 hours, of which approximately 2 hours are spent walking.
Who it is aimed at
The hike is of medium difficulty and is suitable for those who are used to walking in the mountains.
Participation is possible from 12 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Other information
The activity takes place every Saturday from December to March and is confirmed when there are at least five participants.
The itineraries vary depending on snow conditions. Depending on the route chosen, the day before the activity the guide will inform you of the meeting address in the Canazei area, to be reached independently. Contact the guide in advance at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate the address of your accommodation.
In the event of a lack of snow, the hike can still be done on foot.
Dogs are allowed, provided they are used to walking on snow.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
