Full description

Join us for a half-day snowshoe hike toAlpe Campagneda and Prabello, in Valmalenco, and follow an 8 km nature trail, easy and suitable for everyone. An expert guide will accompany you through snow-covered paths and woods, until you reach the highest vantage point, at an altitude of 2350 metres.

The view will range from Pizzo Scalino to Monte Disgrazia and other peaks of the Bernina range. A view that at sunset will be even more suggestive because the sun will set just behind Monte Disgrazia, creating a truly spectacular play of light.

We are waiting for you!

What we will do

We will meet with the guide near Lanzada (SO) to prepare the cars with chains. We will organise ourselves at the time so as to reach the starting point with as few cars as possible. Afterwards, we will drive up to the starting point of the hike, about 7 km away.

Once there, we will put on our snowshoes and set off in the direction ofAlpe Campagneda. We will walk in fresh snow for about two hours, through snowy paths and fairy-tale forests of stone pines and larches.

We willwalk 8 km with an altitude difference of 300 m, until we reach the highest point, at 2350 m.a.s.l. We will find ourselves on a flat plateau amidst snow dunes, surrounded by high peaks such as Pizzo Scalino and Monte Disgrazia, behind which the sun will set.

This area of Valmalenco is very open and scenic, and walking the route at sunset will make it all the more impressive. Finally, we will return to the starting point. Between briefings, stops and various transfers, the experience will last a total of four hours.
