Full description
This experience is for those who wait for the first snowflake with their nose glued to the window!
Experience the magic of winter in Val Canali, in the heart of the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Park, with a 3½-hour snowshoe hi ke.
In the company of an Alpine Guide, you will walk in the snow among quiet woods, Dolomite panoramas and the ruins of alpine huts. To find the same magic once again!
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before 9: 30 a. m. at the meeting point in Primiero San Martino di Castrozza (TN), in the hamlet of Tonadico. Awaiting us will be the Alpine Guide, who will accompany us on this adventure!
We will receive snowshoes and poles, included in the price, and we will participate in a short pre-departure briefing: how to adjust the snowshoes, how to walk on the snow, how to best manage the route.
Our snowshoe hike will take place against the backdrop of Val Canali, one of the most sought-after valleys in the Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino Nature Park. Walking through snow-covered meadows and woods, we will gradually ascend towards the ruins of Malga Pradidali, a silent place perfect for a photo break, with a view of the valley peaks.
From there we will continue in the direction of the Rifugio Treviso (Treviso Hut) , but without reaching it, and then turn along the path that closes the loop. The route will be about 4 km long with an altitude difference of 100 metres.
We will finally return to the meeting point, where those who wish can stop for lunch in a restaurant (not included) . The experience will last a total of 3½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
Participation is possible from the age of 8. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult; over 14s can also participate alone.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first snowshoe hike.
