Come to Valmalenco and experience a high-altitude snowshoe hike in the name of well-being: you will learn breathwalking techniques thanks to the precious advice of your guide.
So, are you ready to breathe in themountain air?
What we will do
The meeting will take place at the meeting point in Lanzada (SO), at the time indicated when booking. Here we will meet our guides, ready to take us on anadventure in the snow!
Once gathered, we will participate in a quick introductory briefing and receive snowshoes and poles to face the excursion in safety. The natural setting around us will be magnificent, topped by the silhouette of Pizzo Scalino and Monte Disgrazia.
We will immediately face a rather steep first ascent, and then continue on a flat track suitable for everyone. The wide path through the snow will lead us to a wonderful viewpoint over the entire valley. A few photos and off we go, towards an off-piste section in the mountains!
During the snowshoe hike, every 20 minutes or so, we will stop for a yoga practice of about 15 minutes. We will engage in breathwalking, an activity that will improve our sports performance, help us reduce stress, increase concentration and promote relaxation.
The snowshoe hike will take place at an altitude ofabout 2000 metres, with a difference in altitude of about 250 metres, and will take us about 6 km through the most beautiful views of Valmalenco.
The experience will last a total of about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone; theminimum recommended age is 8 years.
Minors may participate accompanied.
The activity is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity is available from December to March and is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 6 participants.
To reach the meeting point independently, snow tyres or chains on the car are indispensable. If you are not equipped to tackle the snowy stretch of road, contact the guide in advance to agree on a time and intermediate meeting point and request a free transfer service.
Leashed dogs are allowed.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; parking is available on site.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
