Experience the extraordinary thrill of a hot-air balloon flight, made even more special by theenchanting atmosphere of dawn. Take flight over the wicker basket and admire the wonderful landscape of Friuli, with green hills, ancient castles and imposing Alpine mountains in the background.
Our experienced pilots will fly you in total safety, so that you can enjoy the experience in complete tranquillity, enjoying the landscape at 360 degrees and worrying only about capturing the magical moment.
Flying in a hot-air balloon is an activity you should try at least once in your life. The feeling of touching the sky with your finger, floating in the air, looking down on the world and watching the sun rise will be priceless. Get ready to climb aboard!
What we will do
We will meet in Primulacco (UD), a few kilometres from Udine, shortly before dawn. We will form the group and prepare the balloon together with the crew. Once the air inside the balloon has warmed up, we will be ready for take-off.
We will fly in a natural basin created by the Alps north of Udine, carried by the wind at its speed and direction. We will rise above the hills of Fagagna, where numerous medieval castles adorn the small villages on the heights. An environment where absolute serenity reigns, a natural habitat for many species of birds and wild animals that, if we are lucky, we may encounter during the flight.
Upon landing, we will refit the hot air balloon together with the ground crew, who will then take us back to our starting point. The activity lasts a total of 2.5 hours, including one hour of actual flight time.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for everyone, from 8 years old and up. The only restrictions are for pregnant women and people with serious heart problems or limited mobility in their lower limbs.
Other information
Attention. You must arrive at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Important: flight times vary depending on the time of year and weather conditions, as does the take-off point in exceptional cases. A few days before the activity, you will receive an email from the pilot confirming the time and address. Always check the email before you leave!
The activity takes place on Saturdays and Sundays only, on the dates indicated in the calendar, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 6 participants.
Recommended clothing
Comfortable, seasonal clothing (in flight, the temperature does not vary significantly from the ground but it is always recommended to dress in layers).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
