The elegance of a sail swelled by the Salento wind, the wonder of discovering new places and people, the joy of a delicious lunch enjoyed among the most beautiful beaches in Puglia.
This and much more await you on the one-day tour from Santa Maria di Leuca aboard a splendid sailboat: guided by the skipper's advice, you will learn the secrets of sailing and the winds, and you can try your hand at this elegant discipline.
A lunch based on local products will crown an unforgettable day!
What we will do
The meeting will take place 10 minutes before the agreed time in Santa Maria di Leuca (LE).
Our skipper will accompany us on board the boat, where we will fill out the necessary forms. Once the formalities have been completed, we will start sailing.
We will head straight out to sea and start by taking a couple of hours of leverage, adjusting the sails to make the most of the wind's direction and intensity. Our skipper will teach us the secrets and tricks of the sailing world, letting us have fun at the helm guided by his advice.
Between one tack and another, we will head to where the sea is calm, to take advantage of 2-3 swimming stops (the locations and duration of the stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions) and an excellent lunch. Lunch will consist of an aperitif with typical products, a pasta dish and fresh fruit, accompanied by water and wine.
Among the areas we will have the opportunity to explore are the Grotta delle Meraviglie, the Grotta dell'Aspro, and the Canalone della Guardiola on the Adriatic side of Salento, and the Baia delle 3 Porte, the Felloniche and San Gregorio beaches on the Ionian side, among the most beautiful marine areas of the Apulian peninsula.
After an excursion lasting a total of 7 hours, we will return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
The activity is not recommended for pregnant women and people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.

The activity is available daily from June to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The boat is a 12-metre long sailboat, equipped with an awning at the stern, cushions at the bow, freshwater shower, toilet and 3 cabins. On board you are allowed to use the shower and change clothes. Shoes are not permitted on the boat.
People with food allergies or intolerances can communicate their needs to the organiser after the booking confirmation.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport. Free and paid parking spaces are available on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
