What we will do
The meeting is at 5.30 p.m. near Lillaz, a hamlet of Cogne (AO). After meeting the guide and the rest of the group (up to 15 participants), we will have a briefing on the activity. Afterwards, we will be given snowshoes and poles (included in the fee) and will walk to the starting point of the hike, 2 minutes away.
Snowshoes on our feet, we will walk on a 5 km snowy trail in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park. Together with the guide, we will cross larch forests and walk in peace on the soft snow, illuminated only by the light of torches. The itinerary, with an altitude difference of 150 metres, is easy and suitable for everyone and lasts about 2 hours.
Return to Rhemes is expected by 8 p.m. At the end of the hike, we will have the opportunity to have dinner in a local establishment. The activity has a total duration of 2 and a half hours.
