Enjoy the winter wonders that a land likeSouth Tyrol is able to offer, the imposing peaks, snow-covered valleys, picturesque villages and an enchanting atmosphere: with a snowshoe hike in the Ahrn Valley you will experience all of this!
Together with an experienced guide you will explore the most beautiful paths around the village of Casere in the far north of Italy. A wonderful walk in the snow to get in touch with the unspoilt nature of the Alps and breathe in thepure mountain air.
What we will do
We will meet the guide at 10 a.m. at a public car park in Casere (BZ). Time to form the group, carry out a short briefing on the route and put on the snowshoes (if we don't have them we can rent them for 10€) and then we will set off on the hike.
We will take a panoramic path that will lead us to the fairytale village of Casere, characterised by the typical little mountain church, the symbol of so many South Tyrolean villages.
Along the way we will admire wonderful views of the Ahrntal valley and the surrounding peaks, which dominate the landscape in all their grandeur from their 3,000 metres .
We will walk through the fresh snow on the valley floor on a mostly flat route, which does not present any technical difficulties and is suitable for everyone. The activity lasts about 4 hours in total and ends with the return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is suitable for anyone who is in good health and used to walking in the mountains, aged 12 years and above.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point approximately 15 minutes in advance.
This activity takes place every Wednesday from December to March/April, weather permitting.
Snowshoes are not included in the participation fee and can be hired on site for an extra €10.
The meeting point is at the public car park (for a fee) at the entrance to the village.
Dogs are allowed, provided they are socialised.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
