Enjoy themagical atmosphere of the snowy forests at sunset or in the moonlight with asnowshoe hike at Rifugio Zoia, in Lanzada (SO), in the heart of Valmalenco.
Walk on fresh snow, breathe in thepure mountain air and let yourself be enraptured by the charm of the winter landscapes, which become even more beautiful in the evening!
Together with an Alpine Guide, you will explore the surroundings of the hut in an extraordinarily beautiful natural setting.
What we will do
The meeting with the Alpine Guide will take place at Rifugio Zoia in Lanzada, a municipality of Valmalenco, in the province of Sondrio, 15 minutes before the indicated time.
We will meet the Alpine Guide, get ready by wearing snowshoes (if we don't have them, we can rent them directly on site, together with poles) , have a short briefing on the route , and then set off on one of the many snow-covered paths that wind up from the mountain hut.
The snowshoe hike will take place at sunset or in the evening - depending on the date chosen - and in both cases we will enjoy a magical experience, with the snow coloured in the shades of the setting sun or the full moon.
The woods and mountains of Valmalenco will be a perfect setting for one of the most popular winter activities for young and old.
During the snowshoe hi ke, we will move around the area around Rifugio Zoia, on a ring-route that is completed in about 2 ½ hours, with 350 m of altitude difference.

This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 8 years old and up.

The time selected at the time of booking is purely indicative. The guide will contact you the day before the experience to inform you of the exact time according to the best conditions.
This activity takes place on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed when there are at least 6 participants.
The excursion is scheduled, depending on the day, at sunset (departure at 15: 30) , in the evening (departure at 17: 00) or in the afternoon (departure at 14: 30) .
You are allowed to bring your own dog with you during the activity, as long as it is on a leash.
The equipment is not included in the participation fee and can be hired directly at the hut at an extra price of €11 for snowshoes and poles, €3 for a headlamp.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
