Soft rafting at night in the heart of Rome with toast

If Rome by day has conquered you, Rome by night will make you fall in love!

Join our night rafting trip: in the company of a guide, you will paddle down the Tiber River through the illuminated historic centre. You will see St Peter's Basilica light up like a lighthouse in the night and toast in front of Castel Sant'Angelo.

A2-hour experience to end the day and say goodbye to Rome in the best possible way!

What we will do

The appointment is at 22:00 at the meeting point in Rome. We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this nocturnal adventure!

Once the participants have gathered, a briefing will take place during which we will be given all the information we need for a carefree experience. We will receive ourequipment, proceed with dressing and prepare toboard the raft. This first moment will last about 20 minutes.

And here we are ready to venture on the Tiber river, symbol of the city of Rome: after passing a small rapids, we will paddle in the calm waters that run through the historic centre, illuminated by the reflection of the moon. During the navigation we will encounter the main monuments of the capital such as Castel Sant'Angelo, in front of which we will stop for our toast (included) with a glass of prosecco accompanied by assorted dry snacks. In the distance, we will also be able to spot St Peter's Basilica!

We will land at Ponte Sisto at 00:00, after about 6 km of navigation. From here it will be possible to return to the meeting point by taking the route on foot or using the bus service. The experience will last a total of 2 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for 15 year olds and above; children under the age of 18 must have a signed authorisation which will be sent by the organiser before the experience takes place.

It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate in this activity.

The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first rafting experience.

Attention! Once you have arrived at Ponte Sisto, to return to the meeting point you will need to take public transport independently or undertake a 6 km walk. An alternative meeting point is available near Piazza del Popolo: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail for more information.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed once a minimum number of 4 participants has been reached.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

Once you have made your booking, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your confirmation email to inform us of your T-shirt size so that we can provide you with the correct size of buoyancy aid jacket.

There is no changing room on site; if necessary, the organiser can provide their van to improvise a changing room.
