Paragliding does not require a license or special training to fly. Thanks to tandem paragliding, it is possible to fly securely harnessed to an experienced pilot and experience the thrill of flight while sitting comfortably. Paragliding is the simplest means of free flight. It consists of a steerable wing connected to the pilot’s harness via a harness system.
A few meters of running is all it takes to take off, and the paraglider takes flight by inserting itself into the flow of the updrafts, which sustain it to a soft landing. Paragliding flights last an average of 20 minutes and are closely related to weather and wind conditions.
Paragliding from Mount Baldo is one of the most popular experiences for those who are not satisfied with the view of the lake from the ground but want to enjoy a truly breathtaking panorama. The take-off point is located more than 1,700 meters above sea level and can be reached by the Malcesine-Monte Baldo cable car.

Prices for tandem paragliding flights vary depending on location, type of flight and included services. Flying in Malcesine on Mount Baldo costs 160 euros per person. The fee includes full equipment, cable car ticket and video and photo service.

Very straight forward to book. Great communication once booked to the actual day. Superbly organised. Small wait at cable cars an# at take off due to clouds. Well worth the wait it was breathtaking. Great photos and videos whilst on the paragliding jump.
