The Medici villa Malenchini is a splendid ancient residence in the surroundings of Florence. The place is magical. Well cared for inside and out. We toured the villa and the cellars with Monica a very knowledgeable employee of the villa who with professionalism and passion made us spend 2 pleasant hours telling us about the mysteries and the art of wine-making. Lunch in a cosy kitchen of the time lived up to expectations: an excellent platter of cold meats and cheeses and divine lasagne. All accompanied by excellent wines and house oil. An experience to repeat and to recommend. My compliments to Monica.
