Frequently asked questions
What happens in case of bad weather?
In case of unfavorable weather conditions, it will be up to the guide to assess whether the activity can take place safely. If it is canceled, we will offer you alternative dates. If none of them work for you, you will receive a full refund. Please note that some activities also take place in the rain — sometimes a few drops aren’t enough to stop the adventure!
Where can I find the address of the meeting point?
The exact address is provided only after the booking is confirmed. You’ll receive it by email if you submitted a booking request, or you’ll find it directly on the voucher if you purchased a Gift Voucher.
On the experience page, you can still see the location where the activity takes place and view an indicative map of the meeting point.
Want to know if it’s reachable by public transport? Take a look at the “Additional information” section on the activity page.
How do I make a reservation?
To book, you must do so directly online from the page of the experience you’re interested in:
- Select the Book option: you’ll find it on the right if you’re browsing on a desktop, or at the bottom of the page on a smartphone;
- Choose the date, time, and number of participants;
- Click Proceed to checkout;
Enter your details and select your preferred payment method;
- Your request is submitted!
The amount is only pre-authorized: you won’t be charged anything until the booking is confirmed (within a maximum of 48 hours).
Showing up on site hoping to find availability? Better not. Booking by phone? Nope. Sending an email? Not that either. Everything happens online, in just a few clicks. And our advice is simple: book as early as possible to secure the date you prefer.
What payment methods can I use?
You can pay with any credit or rechargeable prepaid card (including Postepay), as long as it belongs to the Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, or JCB networks. Debit cards are also accepted, provided they are enabled for online payments. Prefer digital wallets? No problem: we accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, and — if you are purchasing a Gift Voucher or a Gift Card — also PayPal. Bank transfers and cash payments on the day of the experience are not accepted. Everything is handled online, simply and securely.
Can I cancel and get a refund?
It all depends on the activity's cancellation policy. There are six different types, each with specific rules and timelines. To find out more, go to the experience page and click or hover over the question mark in the cancellation section. For full details, you can also consult our Cancellation Policy page. We don't say it, they say it:
Milan and surroundings: “off-schedule” ideas between one event and the next
If you’re in Milan for the Olympics and you’ve got a few free hours, it doesn’t take much to turn a “gap in the schedule” into a great memory, without turning your day upside down. If you feel like keeping it easy, outdoor nature activities are perfect: a horseback ride through the parks and countryside around the city works even if it’s your first time, while an alpaca walk is the cutest and most “Like-proof” option—ideal for couples, friends, and families.
If you want something you’ll still be talking about when you get back, look up (way up). A hot-air balloon flight is panoramic, slow, and cinematic; if you prefer a bit more action, go for a tandem paramotor flight or a helicopter ride.
Cortina d’Ampezzo: the “Olympic” mountains you can truly experience
In Cortina d’Ampezzo the atmosphere is electric—and not just because of the Olympics! Snowy Dolomites and that one-of-a-kind mix of sport and scenery make you want to get moving. If you’re after something accessible but seriously rewarding, a snowshoe hike is the right idea to enjoy the best viewpoints without having to be an athlete.
Want to dive fully into the Olympic spirit? Then you might as well do it for real. Ski or snowboard lessons are always a great idea—whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refine your technique with an instructor. And if you’re craving a major change of perspective, here too a hot-air balloon or a helicopter ride delivers an unforgettable view over the Dolomites.
Valtellina: when you’ve got a gap in your schedule, this is where you fill it brilliantly
In Valtellina, free time never stays “free” for long: there’s always something to do! If you’re looking for something simple but different from the usual, a horseback ride is a great way to enjoy the valley while keeping things chill.
If your legs are itching and you want a true “mountain locals” kind of experience, ski mountaineering is the natural upgrade. You go out with a guide, immerse yourself in winter beyond the slopes, and ski with that satisfaction that comes from discovering untouched routes.
Trento and Bolzano: great ideas to make the most of your free time
If you’re moving between Trento and Bolzano to follow the Olympics, adding an experience to your trip is easy (and highly recommended). For a tasty break, a wine tasting is always a connoisseur’s choice—especially if you only have a few hours.
If you want to “raise the bar” on your day, aim high: paragliding or a helicopter ride to admire the Alpine arc in all its majesty, or a zipline for a pure shot of adrenaline. And if you can stay one extra night, unusual stays are the trick to turning an Olympic trip into a complete mini-vacation.
Varese and Como: the Olympic off-schedule moment between nature and adventure
If you’re following the Olympics in the area and you’ve got a free window between one event and the next, Varese and Como are perfect for a quick change of air. A horseback ride is ideal for switching off for a couple of hours, with routes through lakes and rolling hills.
For anyone tired of keeping their feet on the ground, paragliding and hang gliding are the experiences to try: a rush of emotion, alongside flight professionals. And if you’re after something even more original, falconry (or other animal experiences) is for you. A curious, engaging moment to “fly” far from the usual pastimes!
