It was a wonderful, evocative, surreal and romantic experience. The place is enchanting, nestled amongst vineyards and olive groves. To start with, we were treated to an excellent aperitif, accompanied by live music: the atmosphere was magical, and the musician – engaging, passionate and a true storyteller – played a variety of tunes as the sun set over the hills of Modena, all whilst we sat by the pool. For dinner, we moved into the olive grove… stunning, with a view of the hills. An excellent dinner, traditional dishes, a warm welcome, lovely hosts and superb organisation. It was all absolutely marvellous! Highly recommended. And then… there were little furry creatures everywhere, absolutely adorable.
