The service was excellent, and Paolo, our guide, gave us lots of information about the local flora and fauna (particularly the Marsican brown bear). He then took us to the wildlife reserve, where we were lucky enough to see the two female bears, IRIS and MARGHERITA; finally, we said our goodbyes.
