I signed my two kids up last minute for the 6 hour snorkeling class/tour. They had a wonderful time, and both of them announced that the excursion was the highlight of their trip to Sicily (beating out both parasailing and downhill mountain biking). My daughter picked up the technique quickly, but my younger son struggled a bit. One of the instructors patiently helped him control his breathing in the water, and by the end of the trip, my son was hooked and wanted to do more snorkeling. The dives themselves were a lot a fun, and the kids saw fish, an octopus, coral, jellyfish, and on the way to one dive site, dolphins. The guides took videos and photos and sent me them on WhatsApp afterwards. My only regret was not having sent my kids with extra cash, because they enjoyed the excursion so much I had wanted to leave a more generous tip!
