Snowmobiles are vehicles used in mountain areas to easily reach mountain huts and slopes at high altitudes to bring supplies and offer rescue. Since they’re quite easy to drive, center-offered snowmobile tours are becoming increasingly popular. There are trails of all levels, from scenic tours to beaten track tours.
To ride a snowmobile, it is sufficient to have a B license and to scrupulously follow the directions of the guide who acts as a forerunner. Children can also ride on snowmobiles, just check the minimum age required to board as a passenger.
The offered tours in Sappada are varied and suitable for all types of needs. The basic tour lasts 30 minutes and takes place downstream along the Piave River. Another popular route suitable for all is the one leading to Digola Pass, from where you catch spectacular views of the valley.

Prices for a snowmobile tour in Sappada vary by duration and route. To get an idea, the most popular excursion, the one to Digola Pass, costs 110€ and lasts 1 1/2 hours. The fee includes a snowmobile for two people, with the possibility to share the driving.

Nice snowmobile ride of about an hour and a half. It was a beautiful day: sunshine and breathtaking views. All beautiful.
