Snowmobile tours to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo start from Lake Antorno, in Misurina, and go all the way to the Auronzo Lodge, opposite the Tre Cime. The route is 6 km long and takes about 20 minutes. You pass through fir and larch forests and wide expanses of snow, until you reach the sight of the three rock giants.
During the snowmobile tour at the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the experienced instructor drives the vehicle, while the passenger gets to appreciate the surrounding landscape. When you reach the top, you descend to snowshoe around the Tre Cime and admire the rocky spires from different angles.
To return to the base you have several alternatives. You can go back by snowmobile, on foot, snowshoe or sled. The descent involves an altitude difference of about 500 meters but is easy and suitable for families with children. For little ones, this choice is a must: they’ll love it!
A snowmobile excursion to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, guided snowshoeing and sledding downhill costs 110€ per person, all inclusive, and lasts 4 hours. For those who want to experience the sensation of driving a snowmobile themselves, some centers have an equipped track open to participants.

We booked the snowmobile excursion + snowshoeing to spend a different weekend in one of the places we love most, the Dolomites. We were accompanied by a very kind instructor, the excursion starts with a snowmobile ride to the refuge and then a fantastic snowshoe hike around the 3 peaks of Lavaredo. Really worth it, to be done again as soon as possible!!!!

Beautiful route, crowned by a very atmospheric ascent by snowmobile and a descent by sledge (for those who want to, you can alternatively descend by snowmobile). Lots of wind, balaclavas would have been needed! Lovely scenery, not the 'usual' snowshoeing in the middle of the forest!
