Are you thinking of skydiving for the first time? First of all, you should know that you do not have to take any skydiving courses. For a tandem jump, in fact, no special training is needed, you just need to be in good health and meet certain weight limits.
Skydiving schools organize tandem jumps with tandem parachutes for everyone. Before you board the plane, a detailed briefing takes place in which you will be given a full explanation of what to do during the flight. Having reached an altitude between 4,000 and 4,300 meters, securely harnessed and attached to the instructor, you will finally take the jump.
The first phase of the flight consists of 60 seconds of free fall at 200 km/h for a unique and unrepeatable thrill! Then you continue to fly for 5 to 7 minutes with an open canopy at a lower speed that allows you to enjoy the breathtaking view.
As it approaches the ground, the parachute slows its travel to allow a soft landing. Upon landing, the pilot will ask you to lift your legs so that you are comfortably seated on the ground.
There are several options for making a parachuting in Tuscany. Those who want to admire the sea from above can jump in San Vincenzo, on the Livorno coast, or in Orbetello, on the Silver Coast. Those who prefer art cities, however, can book a jump near Florence or Arezzo.
You can also skydive near Lucca between the foothills of the Apuan Alps and those of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and admire truly enchanting natural views. In short, skydiving schools in Tuscany are ready to please all tastes!
