What you need to know before driving a snowmobile
Riding a snowmobile requires nothing more than having a B license and following the directions of experienced guides. A briefing is always held before departure to learn the controls and become familiar with the vehicle. One driver and one passenger can ride on each snowmobile.
Snowmobiles can only be used in suitable snow conditions. Generally you move along beaten tracks and the feeling is that of riding a motorcycle or quad bike. It is recommended to bring a pair of sunglasses with you to avoid visibility problems.

A snowmobile tour in Madesimo is an exciting and evocative experience. It starts at an altitude of 1,500 meters and follows a scenic route that winds through larch and fir forests. The route has some ups and downs and is fun and practicable even for those with no previous experience.
Along the way we stop several times to admire the view of the peaks of the Alps and the Farrè glacier and arrive at a quarry of green beola, a typical stone of the area. You can then continue to Lago Nero until you reach 2,350 meters above sea level.

We were able to do the tour just the two of us with our guide, which we really loved. It was especially nice that there were no other people joining us. The guide fully adapted to our pace, and everything went perfectly smoothly. The views were absolutely beautiful, and we received clear and thorough instructions. A truly unique and unforgettable experience - simply wonderful.

beautiful experience but not quite as booked
The snowmobile excursion took place in a very atmospheric natural setting and the route is very beautiful. The organisation in general was punctual, however the experience did not entirely reflect what had been booked. We had purchased the use of two snowmobiles, but after a few minutes one of the participants, on his first experience, was made to continue as a passenger. We understand that safety is paramount, but as we were dealing with inexperienced people, we would have expected a more gradual approach, with more support and patience in the initial phase, including communication.nThe excursion nevertheless continued to the end, but the final experience was different from the one imagined at the time of purchase. Recommended above all for those who already have a minimum of familiarity with the vehicle; those who are at their first experience would do well to inform themselves well beforehand.

A truly magical experience
A truly magical experience, adrenalin rush and breathtaking scenery, and if you even get a full moon you really think you are in another dimension. Top staff, from the receptionist to the guides, all very friendly and helpful. A truly over-the-top tour, for those with doubts, throw yourself in and if you don't feel like driving you can rely on the staff, they will take you on this hypnotic and irresistible journey
