02 Set 2023 | Passeggiata a cavallo nel cuore del Sulcis
This was an incredible experience- for a beginner, not really familiar with horse riding. The area itself and horses were great, however we didn't like the fact that it wasn't clearly stated where the meeting point is. In the confirmation email from them there's an address which is just the town name where they're based but no number, coordinates, nothing. We arrived on time, but we had to call the "contact person" because we had no idea where to go. Even though in the booking we stated we only speak english, when I called that number a woman answered in Italian and when I spoke english back, she hung up. That happened three times, after that we gave up and decided to drive around to see if we can find it. In about 15mins we received a message that she was going to get the instructor to call us, who then helped us find it. Luckily, we did, but because we were a bit late the instructor rushed over the explanaition on what to do with horses, especially didn't mention much about how to calm them down in case they start running or if something scares them. Which is exactly what happened, so that wasn't pleasant and neither was the instructor. Some of his comments/reactions weren't appropriate.

Forse l’esperienza più bella mia fatta, arrivati al maneggio ci hanno accolto calorosamente offrendoci una bibita, dopodiché scelta del casco e assegnazione del cavallo, cavalli stupendi e ben educati, ma quello che colpisce di più é il panorama circostante, sconfinato, spettacolare, un’esperienza unica, consigliatissimo!!

L'escursione a cavallo fatta presso il centro ippico S'Arcireddu è stata un'esperienza bellissima, che consiglio a chiunque! Personale appassionato e posti incantevoli, niente da chiedere di più! Complimenti, continuate così!

We made a ride of 1,5 hours and even spotted some flamingo’s! It was a fantastic morning, even for my boyfriend who had no ecperience.
