For a tandem skydiving experience, it is not necessary to have a license or to have taken a skydiving course, and no special physical skills are required either. Tandem skydiving allows anyone to jump, as long as you are in good health and meet certain weight limits.
Launching is done in safe places together with instructors and experienced personnel and is always preceded by a preparation briefing. All phases of the experience are explained and behavior and safety guidelines are provided to best approach the launch.
Several skydiving schools organize tandem jumps in and around Rome. During these experiences, it is possible to experience firsthand the feeling of flying like a real skydiver.
You fly up for 15 minutes until you reach the jump altitude, usually around 4,000 m altitude. At that point, firmly harnessed to the instructor, you take a deep breath and jump into the void from the airplane. After about 60 seconds of free fall, during which you approach 200 km/h speed, the instructor opens the parachute and you continue with gliding at a slower speed. The descent takes about 10 minutes and provides an exciting 360-degree view.
The price of a parachute jump in Rome is 230 euros. Photos and videos of the flight can be requested at an additional cost. Absolutely recommended choice to immortalize one of the strongest emotions you will ever experience in your life.

MAGIC experience, a plunge into the absolute void! Instructor (Renato) to whom I was attached, reassuring and competent! 5 minutes of pure adrenaline, it's an instant, a few seconds before you're on the plane and the next thing you know you're in the void without even realising it. I highly recommend it! They also leave you with a nice certificate of participation and in my case, a video of the moment taken by a go-pro strapped to the instructor's wrist. It's absolutely worth it, we can guess what it feels like to fly😍
