The sea, mystical caves and bruschetta!
A wonderful first snorkelling experience and my first time in Giannutri! We arrived at Cerniette, Cala Ischiaiola, where we were given a mask, snorkel and fins. We saw various types of fish and a few starfish, as well as some underwater arches. We didn’t go ashore (you need a ticket). The water was stunning and crystal-clear! On the boat, there was always water, coffee and tea available. Mid-morning we were served bruschetta, and for lunch we had penne with seafood and tomato – which was very tasty – followed by a slice of cake. To save money, I parked the car at the free Marina car park, a 30-minute walk from the meeting point. Highly recommended for young and old alike!

It was our family’s first experience of this sort, with two children aged 12 and 6 (the youngest only swims with armbands), and we were absolutely delighted. They provided us with everything we needed (mask, snorkel, fins) and guided us step by step through every stage so that we could enjoy the day to the full. nThe dives took place off Giannutri for safety reasons

Extremely satisfied
The staff were extremely friendly; our snorkelling guide was Valeria, who was passionate about her work and extremely knowledgeable about the sea. The boat trip was lovely, and we were provided with snacks and drinks on board. When we got back to Divers, we found everything we needed for a shower. A fantastic day

Not just snorkelling
It was all great. The only problem was that most of the participants were divers, with their huge bits of kit, which effectively took up the whole boat. Perhaps it should have been made clear that it wasn’t just for snorkelling
