A wonderful experience, culture and fun on a boat!

An experience we’ll cherish forever! The Grotta del Bue Marino and the Baia dei Gabbiani are marvellous, but it’s Flavio who really makes all the difference. As well as being a diving instructor, he is a certified nature guide for the Region of Tuscany, and his knowledge of Elba’s history and marine biology shines through in every explanation. Whilst snorkelling, he shared his research with us and helped us see the sea in a whole new light. All this with great kindness, friendliness and helpfulness. As a very welcome final surprise, he even treated us to a sweet snack. You can really sense the love he puts into his work and the passion with which he showcases his local area. An authentic experience that we’d recommend to anyone visiting the Island of Elba!

Definitely worth doing again!!!

An unforgettable day. Flavio, the guide, was truly very, very knowledgeable and perfect for these educational excursions. The boat was, incidentally, spotlessly clean – unlike others I’ve seen – and equipped with drinks, wetsuits and sanitised masks, and the company was excellent. We visited some truly remarkable spots teeming with fish. The excursion is definitely suitable for all ages. Nothing to complain about – we’ll be back sooner or later!! Well done again on the guide’s knowledge and expertise.

Snorkelling and cultural tour

A lovely excursion during which Flavio, as well as taking us snorkelling in some beautiful spots, explained the island’s geology and biology to us with passion and expertise. We had brought our own kit, but the boat had everything you could need for a memorable experience (masks, fins, lifejackets, wetsuits, etc.)
