Marvellous!
A wonderful and fascinating experience! Gianluca was very clear in his explanations and in answering our questions, and kept us fully engaged throughout the experience. We learnt so much about parrots, the different species, and how to interact with these animals; we were able to watch them in flight, interact with them, and much more! I highly recommend this experience to everyone.

Always a pleasant experience...
It was another lovely experience (this was my second time) and I’d recommend it. The only thing to bear in mind is that some people might not feel at ease with the beautiful, boisterous parrots

A wonderful experience
A fantastic experience, even if it’s just to learn something new or spend an afternoon doing something a bit different. The guide was very knowledgeable and able to put even those who were a bit wary of parrots at ease. You do need to be prepared for a few minor scratches caused by the parrots’ clumsy landings on your arm

Highly recommended!
A truly fantastic experience! Suitable for everyone, particularly families and young people. The staff are extremely helpful and very professional. We recommend entering ‘Pappagalli in Volo’ into your sat-nav rather than the address provided, as otherwise it will take you somewhere else. Wear comfortable, casual clothing.

A special day
A wonderful afternoon spent with some very special creatures. We were welcomed by Gianluca, who was cheerful, friendly and very knowledgeable. He introduced us to these marvellous parrots, explaining where they came from and their habits both in the wild and in captivity. Gianluca is part of an organisation that looks after these parrots, which have been abandoned, confiscated, found or handed over into their care. He was so good at putting us at ease with them that by the middle of the afternoon, one person in our group – who’d been afraid at first – had a parrot on their head and one on their shoulder. We enjoyed a lovely snack together with our feathered friends, who tucked into the fruit.Gianluca always answered our questions with great enthusiasm. At the end of the visit, which went on longer than the agreed time, we watched the parrots return to their cages in an orderly fashion. Highly recommended 🥰
