It is never too late or too early to learn to ski. Ski courses and lessons are open to people of all ages (usually as young as 4 years old) and all levels, from beginners to advanced. On Monte Cimone, you can sign up for group ski lessons to be taken with other students, or one can book private lessons with a fully dedicated instructor.
Group classes are particularly suitable for children because of their playful approach and the opportunity to make new friends, developing motor skills while learning to be in a group. Private lessons remain the best choice for those who want to get the most out of them in a short time, benefiting from a one-on-one approach and customized programs.
The Monte Cimone area includes the municipalities of Sestola, Fanano, Fiumalbo, Riolunato and Montecreto. Through road connections and ski lifts, the most important Cimone ski areas, such as Passo del Lupo, Lago della Ninfa, Le Polle, or Valcava, can be easily reached from these locations. Going even higher, at almost 2,000 meters, are Pian Cavallaro, where you can snowkite, and Buca del Cimone, with interesting freeride routes.
Prices for ski courses and lessons at Monte Cimone depend on the duration and type of activity. Private lessons cost around €40 per hour, a rate that may vary slightly depending on the time of the season. Group classes also vary in price depending on high or low season, with rates around €120 for a weekly course.
