The trip to the lakes was simply a boat ride on a lake. But then, once we’d passed the disused lock, the spectacle began. A pristine river, primeval forest, habitats for birds (400 different species). Absolutely beautiful. Forget the Po Delta! The Vallazza Nature Reserve – that is nature untouched by human hands.
