Classic Capri boat tours consists of circumnavigating the island. Starting from Naples, Sorrento or the port of Capri, you sail around the island, stopping at the most famous and picturesque spots. Many tours include a visit to the Blue Grotto, which is by far one of the biggest attractions. But the White Cave, the Green Cave and the Cave of Wonders also provide striking views and enchanting colors.
On a tour of the island of Capri, you cannot miss a stop at the Faraglioni, the two iconic rocks that rise imposingly from the sea and have become the true symbol of the place. And again, the Natural Arch, Villa Malaparte, Punta Carena and many others are among the coastal beauties that can be admired by sea.
Full-day boat tours always include a stop for a few hours to visit the center of Capri. A stroll through the piazzetta, a tour of the picturesque alleys and luxurious villas, an ice cream or a slice of torta caprese with a panoramic view are simply experiences you should not miss!
With a boat tour, you can enjoy the sea of Capri in all its beauty. Due to its rocky nature, the island in fact does not have wide beaches and long shorelines to walk and sunbathe. Those who vacation on Capri usually choose to move around by boat to reach the secret coves and hidden bays along the coast that are not accessible by land.
Capri boat tours always include stops at the most picturesque spots to dive into the crystal clear waters. You can swim inside the caves or snorkel near the reefs. A boat trip is a perfect combination of sun and sea, relaxation and fun.
Capri can also be the starting point for visiting Ischia, Procida and the most beautiful places on the Campania coast. Those staying in Capri can depart from the port of Marina Grande and take tours of the Amalfi and Sorrento Coasts.
Prices for a boat tour to Capri vary according to duration, starting point, time of year, and type of boat. To give you an idea: a day trip on a typical Sorrentine gozzo departing from Naples or Sorrento costs 149 euros per person in high season.
Shorter tours can also be made by leaving directly from the port of Capri. In this case, a 2-hour boat tour of Capri costs 59 euros per person. Rates often include a drink on-board and a taste of home-made limoncello.
Quite different rates are offered for renting a private boat. In this case, prices refer to the whole boat. For a private tour of Capri, you can spend from 600 euros for a Sorrento gozzo rental to 1,800 euros per day for an exclusive yacht.
A boat tour to Capri is one of the most popular gifts in summer. It can be the perfect idea for a birthday gift, graduation gift or simply to spend a different day relaxing. Among the different solutions, you can choose the most suitable tour for you. Sightseeing tours, tours for under 30s, excursions with lunch on board, with aperitif at sunset or with breakfast at sunrise.
If, on the other hand, you want to go big and gift a boat tour of Capri for a wedding, anniversary or truly special occasion, the best choice is to rent a private boat for a dream experience.

14 Sep 2024 | Discovery day tour of Capri and Anacapri from Naples
Very interesting tour with superbly prepared and professional guides Only flaw in the group too many people of different nationalities, you lose a lot of time in explaining everything in 3 different languages, in addition to the fact that it is an island crowded with tourists and for these reasons you can not fully enjoy all Capri just touch and go even could not visit the famous Gardens of Augustus otherwise we would lose the ferry back Despite this, a special thanks to our super guide Rossella that with his professionalism and sympathy made us appreciate the island

The boat tour we chose was 7h, so the whole day. The day was marvellous in every aspect: from diving into crystal-clear waters to strolling around the beautiful Positano. We were entrusted to Renato who accompanied us not only with his friendliness but also with his knowledge of the place, giving us some curiosities. Super recommended experience
