A really lovely experience and perfectly manageable for beginners like us, as it was our first time. We were given a three-seater kayak, so our little girl sat in the middle. The instructions were simple but essential for enjoying the experience safely. In the morning, the lake was as smooth as glass; I’d recommend a waterproof jacket for the children as the shaded areas of the canyon are damp and it gets a bit chilly. In my opinion, the forestry commission and local authorities should ensure the rocks are protected with suitable supports to prevent naturally crumbling pieces of rock from falling down during excursions! I’d like to thank the instructors for giving us such a unique and relaxing experience. Definitely one to repeat! Thank you

I really enjoyed it. A very satisfying experience – we paddled through some beautiful gorges that can only be reached by kayak. The guides were very professional and friendly. Definitely one to do again – I highly recommend it.
