Falconer for a day in Aosta Valley
A dazzling experience
I gave this experience to my partner for his birthday. Never was a gift so apt. It was a wonderful morning in all respects: a guide full of passion for these animals who aroused our enthusiasm in approaching the world of birds of prey for the first time; a relaxing walk in the context of the wonderful mountains of the Aosta Valley; last but not least, a snowy owl and a barn owl splendid in their sociability. We enjoyed everything so much that we hope to make a single experience a future passion. Many thanks to our guide and his wonderful raptor friends!

Falconer for a day in Aosta Valley
Wonderful experience
It was a wonderful experience, my boyfriend and I were super satisfied, we learned a lot of new things about these wonderful animals. The guy who follows you is super knowledgeable and you can see that he loves what he does and his animals, he passes on all his passion to us newbies. We will definitely come back to see the winged messengers as soon as possible, so we can also see them in flight. 🫶🏻

Falconer for a day in Aosta Valley
The refuge for...
The birds of prey refuge is located in a hamlet of Gignod, a town just above Aosta on the road to the Great St Bernard Pass. Surrounded by majestic mountains, we got to know some nice birds of prey thanks to a presentation by the very knowledgeable Javier, who first told us their story, then let us choose one of them each and took us on a very special walk. Birds of prey each have their own character but are very docile and come to trust their human companion. Pictured are Lancelot and Nyx, a female owl. It was a very pleasant and interesting experience!
