The charms of Matera are ready to carve themselves into your heart with a 1-hour horseback ride. You will be able to admire the famous City of the Sassi from a panoramic viewpoint, riding 5 km at a pace through the Murgia Materana Park.
Can you smell it too? It's the scent of Basilicata's strawberries! And it's the trail we'll follow during our horseback ride in Policoro: in the company of an equestrian guide, we'll ride among typical local fruit trees, admiring them in their blossoming and ripening phase. A 1-hour experience, to be enjoyed in any season!

Beautiful experience. Friendly, helpful and nice staff. The staff showed us around the stables and all the horses. An experience also suitable for those who have never ridden a horse.

A truly impressive experience. Very well organised. We had a great time, I highly recommend everyone to do it. The landscape is breathtaking, well worth a visit, and even more so if done on horseback. Personally very welcoming, patient and helpful. Riding school big and full of horses.

Although it was our first time on horseback, the owners and managers of the stables put us at ease right from the start, allowing us to familiarise ourselves with the horses as they approached seeking contact and caresses. During the ride, we stopped on a natural 'terrace' from which we could enjoy the view of the sassi of Matera. A unique experience, I highly recommend it.
