Much more than a walk: culture, nature and authentic flavours.
We spent a different Sunday in the company of Marco and his horses. After an initial briefing and approach with the horse that would accompany us on our ride, we took a long walk. We saw animals in total freedom without any human presence and it was fascinating, sampling plants that we found along the way. The view was wonderful, a plain with a lot of biodiversity, very beautiful and relaxing. On the way, Marco explained the history of the place to us, he explained a lot of curiosities about horses and other animals, he got us into the heart of the place thanks to his vast knowledge and culture. It was very interesting to listen to him. At the end, he treated us to a homemade aperitif made with care and local products.

Me and the...
My boyfriend and I went to the Ranch for a three-hour hike. It was a wonderful experience. Nothing to do with the usual horse riding. Here you immerse yourself in nature accompanied by a guide (Marco) who is very friendly, cultured and capable of transferring notions of biology and zoology with simplicity and passion. Added to this is the natural ability of Marco and his wife Francesca to make you feel at home, as if you were a friend of the family. Also worth mentioning is the honest and sincere telling of the couple's story, told over a glass of wine and a flower fritter. To conclude, the place is beautiful, unique; it is a real, authentic place, far from the social network places. We will definitely be back! 😎

A wonderful experience, from the very first moment Marco was super helpful and very well prepared. Thanks to his knowledge of the area, throughout the hike he guided us through nature and animals living undisturbed, telling us the history, origins of horses and their behaviour in nature, arriving up to the present day, and passing on the importance they had for man in ancient times. When we returned from the walk, he welcomed us, as if we were part of the family, with a small aperitif, telling us all his story. A very beautiful and interesting experience, recommended for anyone who wants to spend a different and very pleasant day.

Between nature and horses: a unique day in the Tolfa Mountains 🐴🍃
I gave my boyfriend a horseback ride in the Tolfa mountains for our anniversary and it was a special experience. Marco, the guide, was great: kind, prepared and passionate. During the ride he told us the history of the area and explained the variety of plants and animals that populate these beautiful mountains. The horses are docile and well-trained, but they retain their nature, making the experience authentic even for beginners. With us was also his daughter who took beautiful photos and shared them with us, leaving us with a unique memory. We concluded with an aperitif of local products, chatting with Marco who, besides being a competent guide, is also a pleasant person full of interesting stories. An experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to discover Tolfa in a different and unforgettable way!
